About

Where audit meets automation.

I'm a Senior Refund Auditor at ZATCA in Riyadh, with over four years of experience in refunds. Most of my work is studying complex cases, reviewing their documentation in detail to determine the correct refund treatment, and processing the resulting payments — with working knowledge of the VAT refund workflow where cases call for it.

Alongside the audit work, I'm self-taught in Python and SQL, and I build the internal tools my team uses day to day: desktop applications and local databases that took recurring work out of Excel and cut the time it takes to process and track cases. My strength lies at the intersection of case auditing, payment processing, and practical automation.

A desktop application that replaced the team's Excel master file entirely — records are managed, audited, and de-duplicated in-app, with data updates synced automatically and datasets exported to Excel on demand. Cut processing time and reduced manual errors.
